A police officer who was killed in Berkshire while responding to a reported burglary was a newlywed due to go on his honeymoon.

PC Andrew Harper, from the Roads Policing Proactive Unit based at Abingdon police station, was married last month in a ceremony at Ardington House in Oxfordshire

Police say full facts surrounding his death are still being established but officers know he was dragged along by a car at some point.
